Agathis macrophylla (Pacific kauri) is a tropical tree from Polonesia. It is mainly grown for its timber crops (medium shelflife), but also

The minimum temperature is 6°C and optimally between 25 - 28°C. The optimal rainfall is 4900 mm/year. Without irrigation the annual rainfall should be between 1900 - 6000 mm (L/m²). The optimal soil-pH is between 4.0 - 7.0 in a soil texture of clay.
